Are we all about to be replaced by binary code?

Is that really what’s happening?

Will a programme pip us all to the post, moving forward?

Soon, will all the images we see and voices we hear be concocted by computer programmers?

Freeing up capacity can only be a good thing, of course. Anything that’s mundane, repetitive and leaves vital skillsets to rusticate, could, and perhaps even should, be picked up by software.

But what do we stand to lose, if we lean too much towards convenience?

If we listen only to the words, and ignore the warmth in a voice?

If we value a quick turn-around, over plummeting the depths of the human soul?
